Who Was Arnon Zamora?
36-year-old Chief Inspector Arnon Zamora was a revered officer within the elite Yamam counter-terrorism unit in Israel. Residing in Sde David, near Sderot, he was survived by his wife, Michal, two children, and his parents, Reuven and Ruthi. Zamora's commitment to safeguarding Israel was evident during the "Seeds of Summer" operation, renamed "Operation Arnon", posthumously. He valiantly fought against Hamas terrorists, preventing their infiltration into Israel during the Supernova music festival on October 7.
