Texas, September 13: The Bexar County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) has apprehended an 18-year-old, Izaac Anthony Hernandez, in connection with child sex crimes involving a 14-year-old victim. Hernandez faces charges of promotion of child pornography and aggravated sexual assault of a child. The investigation began after the victim's mother reported Hernandez to the BCSO on August 12, when the child disclosed the abuse.

According to multiple reports, a forensic interview conducted through ChildSafe revealed disturbing details, including the existence of photos and videos depicting sexual acts committed by Hernandez. Shockingly, some of these assaults occurred when the victim was only 13 years old, and Hernandez was 18 at the time. Following the outcry, BCSO's Fugitive Apprehension Unit swiftly moved to take Hernandez into custody on Tuesday afternoon, September 12, executing warrants related to the alleged crimes. Texas Shooting: Four-Year-Old Accidentally Shoots 1-Year-Old Brother in Houston.

Hernandez was subsequently booked into the Bexar County Jail. BCSO has taken the opportunity to remind parents of the importance of monitoring their children's social media activities and fostering open communication. They encourage parents to establish a trusting relationship with their children so they feel comfortable sharing information. Furthermore, BCSO advises parents to educate their children about the legal consequences of distributing and possessing explicit images of underage individuals, emphasising that such actions may lead to charges of distribution and/or possession of child pornography. Texas Airport Accident: Worker Dies After Being 'Ingested' Into Delta Air Lines Flight Engine at San Antonio International Airport.

In a similar incident, Tiffany Ann Rugen, a Copperas Cove woman, is facing state charges for allegedly sexually assaulting two children, one under six and the other under 14 and recording the incidents and sharing the images online. She was indicted on two first-degree felony charges in August. Federal charges related to child pornography production and distribution are also possible.
