Washington, October 20: A 49-year-old woman from California, United States, has been charged with 39 criminal counts, including felony, child abuse and sexual assault, among others. The woman, Shannon O'Connor, has been allegedly accused of throwing ten sex parties for her son and his friends. Police officials also said that the accused reportedly searched online for "good books with young sex".

According to a report in the People, Shannon O'Connor also searched for content on topics that sexualised minor boys and girls, including "hot 16 (year) old teenage girls", among others. The details were confirmed by the documents produced before the court. Back then, she was charged with various offences, including sexual assault and even providing alcohol to minors. Local police alleged that the accused hosted alcohol-fueled sex parties and attempted to keep them a secret. Prosecutors claimed that the accused reportedly encouraged sex acts among the teens between the ages of 13 and 16 years old.

Shockingly, the woman even watched the teen's sexual acts, the prosecutors said. As per a complaint filed with Santa Clara County Superior Court, the alleged sexual parties were held between June 2020 and February 2021. While the woman has been charged with several offences, she has pleaded not guilty. A search history of Shannon's phone revealed chilling details.

"Good books with young sex", "hot 16 (year) old teenage girls", and "prettiest 16-year-old girl" were among the searches found on the accused's phone. O'Connor of Los Gatos was also accused of allegedly hosting a sleepover for 12 underaged teenagers before being arrested in Idaho. Some victims and their parents claimed the accused woman lured them to her place for "wild parties" through social media. Prosecutors said that O'Connor allegedly allowed the teenage "sex party" guests not only to drink but also have sex for her own sexual gratification.
