Mumbai, August 20: In a trial where she was found guilty, disturbing information about the horrific drug-fueled murder of a man committed by a woman, while they were having sex, came to the fore. A court concluded in late July that Shad Thyrion, 24, who was the partner of 25-year-old Taylor Schabusiness of Green Bay, Wisconsin, was brutally murdered in February 2022.

During the trial, prosecutors described how she killed him by strangling him with a dog collar. Schabusiness even acknowledged that she could feel Thyrion's heartbeat as she kept applying pressure.

The gruesome crime was committed in Shad's mother's basement. Even after his heart stopped beating, Schabusiness revealed that she had continued to sexually attack his lifeless corpse, thus the horrific events didn't finish with his murder. She then went on to decapitate him and cut his body into pieces. When detectives and investigators arrived on the scene of the crime, they were met with a horrific scene. The body parts of Thyrion were recovered in various levels of dismemberment, and his severed head was found in a bucket.

It became clear during the trial that Schabusiness had previously used methamphetamine. Both the defence and the prosecution accepted the possibility that her drug usage had affected her behaviours and state of mind. In a strange event that occurred in the beginning of the trial in March, Schabusiness assaulted Quinn Jolly, her former legal representative. She managed to elbow him in the skull while still having her hands restrained, though he wasn't hurt. A police officer then wrestled her to the ground.

Schabusiness confessed to being involved in the crime in an interrogation video that was aired in court. She acknowledged strangling Thyrion with a dog collar during an intimate encounter and detailed subsequent events. In addition, images of Schabusiness' hands and arms were displayed, displaying scratches and scrapes that were purportedly acquired during or after the slaying.
