Mumbai, September 30: Officials from St. Louis County are looking into allegations that two students had intercourse in a classroom at Hazelwood Central High School. Officers responded to a "call for service for an indecent act" at the school at 9:30 am on Friday, according to a spokesperson for the St. Louis County Police Department.

Officers were notified that two students had engaged in sex inside a classroom. Police have made contact with two kids under investigation, an 18-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy. Authorities have not made any arrests yet, although warrants may be issued in the near future. The 18-year-old could face first-degree sexual misconduct charges via the St. Louis County Counselor's Office, according to police. The 17-year-old might be charged with the same offences in St. Louis County Family Court.

Previously, after two students were found having sex earlier this year, a Montgomery County, Maryland, high school erected mirrors to assist monitor its halls. Miguel Cedillo, 18, faces a misdemeanour charge of fourth-degree sex offence after reportedly having sex with a 14-year-old girl in the corridor outside the attendance office at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville. The girl agreed to the February contact, which ended when other kids in the corridor stopped them, according to court filings. After hearing about the event from the parent of another student, the girl's parents contacted the school. The school then called the police. Cedillo is charged due to the age disparity. In Maryland, fourteen is too young to provide legal permission for sex.
