Mumbai, October 3: A school teacher from Tennessee, United States, who was accused of allegedly raping a 12-year-old student was recently arrested again for reportedly stalking and harassing a victim. The news was confirmed by the Covington Police Department. The fourth-grade teacher, identified as Alissa McCommon (38), was arrested from her Covington home. The teacher has been charged with new criminal charges of coercion of a witness, aggravated stalking, and harassment.

On September 8, Alissa McCommon, who is a former teacher at Charger Academy, was arrested for allegedly raping a child. McCommon, a mother of two, pleaded not guilty to the initial charges. McCommon, who used the same number, also admitted to having a sexual encounter with the victim.

Speaking about the incident, Donna Turner, Chief of Covington Police, said, "The actions of McCommon are not only appalling, but CPD is also concerned about this apparent violation of her bond conditions. Due to the nature of the communications, we are concerned others may have been contacted."
