Washington, October 23: A school teacher in Florida, United States, was recently arrested for allegedly grabbing and slamming a kindergarten student. The teacher allegedly slammed the kindergarten student for throwing a piece of paper in the school in Florida. The teacher, identified as Khadijah Tynnettta Muhammad (54), was arrested on the grounds of child abuse.
As per a report in the New York Post, the incident came to light after the teacher's act was caught on camera. The shocking incident took place on October 10, when Khadijah Tynnettta Muhammad allegedly assaulted the boy at Margate Elementary School in Broward County. Police officials said the teacher assaulted the kindergarten student in front of other students and staff. Notably, the teacher assaulted the boy, who was not one of her students. The video of the incident showed the student sitting on the floor in a hallway with other students. As the video moves further, the student is seen throwing a piece at some of his classmates. This is when the accused teacher walked up to him and grabbed him by his left wrist "in an aggressive manner"
"She continued to lift him off the ground by his arms, twist his arms, and grabbed him by the back of his shirt while shoving him across the hallway," the arrest report reads. The incident, which lasted for two minutes, shows the teacher ripping the student's jacket as she continues to grab him by his arms and wrists, among others, before the altercation ends. Later, the teacher grabs the kindergarten student by his neck before slamming him on the ground. After the incident came to light, the teacher was arrested from her home in Lauderdale Lakes. She has been charged with child abuse.
