Goergia, June 30: A couple in US’ Georgia, Ashlee Crawley, 26, and James Tripp, 29, are facing multiple charges after police allege they attempted to sell their toddler for sex. Grovetown police arrested the pair on Wednesday following a tip-off about their activities.
Investigators revealed that Crawley and Tripp used an online chatroom to find men willing to pay for sex with their 2-year-old daughter. Additionally, Crawley was reportedly producing sexually explicit content and selling it online, with some videos allegedly involving their children, including the toddler, to earn extra money. The exact nature of these videos and the extent of the children's involvement remain unclear. Further investigations uncovered that Tripp was attempting to seek Crawley's permission to engage in sexual activities with one of his underage relatives. Authorities acted swiftly to remove all children from the home, who are now under the care of the Division of Family and Children Services. Crawley faces charges of child molestation and violating the Computer or Electronic Pornography and Child Exploitation and Prevention Act of 2007. Tripp is charged with criminal attempted incest and criminal attempted child molestation. Both are currently held in the Columbia County Jail.
Police expect additional charges to be filed as the investigation continues.
