Jackson, June 7: In a startling revelation, a Mississippi state trooper has been sacked from duty after allegedly disseminating sexually explicit material to fellow officers via a state-issued phone. The trooper, identified as Ivana Williams, is accused of sharing not only racy images of herself but also intimate videos involving another woman. The scandal, which led to Williams' dismissal, also saw the termination of two more officers for violating the code of conduct by requesting explicit pictures from Williams.

According to a report by the New York Post, the scandal unfolded in February when Williams allegedly sent a sex video filmed with another woman to her colleagues. The unnamed woman in the video subsequently filed a civil lawsuit against Williams, claiming damages worth USD 11 million. She has criticised her dismissal as retaliatory, asserting that similar incidents involving male troopers went unpunished.
