New York, September 1: In a disturbing incident in the United States, a homeless couple were allegedly caught on camera having sex on the streets of New York City. A video of the homeless couple showing their "indecent" behaviour and getting cosy in public has also surfaced online. The alleged incident is said to have taken place on August 22, at a parking lot beneath the FDR drive in New York.

An X-rated footage of the couple having sex in public was obtained by The New York Post. It must be noted that the FDR Drive, also called East River Drive, is a few steps away from the East River Greenway, which is used by children to walk to school and local athletes to train for marathons. The homeless couple are allegedly seen engaging in "hot sex" next to a bike and parked tractor-trailer. The incident came to light after a 34-year-old local recorded the homeless couple's "intimate" moments on camera. "A couple having sexual intercourse on the sidewalk was a new low for the city for me," the local said. The local also stated that he was considering moving to the Upper West Side following the incident.

Reacting to news of a homeless couple having sex in the parking lot beneath FDR Drive, a 30-year-old woman named Tiffany Opio, who is a dog walker, said that New York was getting bad with homeless people having sex in public. Although the incident sparked mixed reactions, an official said that the New York City Police Department (NYPD) had not received any complaints about public sex on the said date.
