Mumbai, July 15: A man and his daughter reportedly died after getting lost in Utah’s Canyonlands National Park in the US and running out of water while hiking in 100-degree heat on Friday, July 12. A team from the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office and the NPS is investigating the deaths of the father-daughter duo. The identities of the victims were not known immediately. The father was 52 years old, while the daughter was 23.
According to a report by New York Post, the man and his daughter from Green Bay, Wisconsin, were hiking the Syncline Trail. The duo got lost and ran out of water in the 100-degree heat, which resulted in their deaths. Rangers and personnel from the Bureau of Land Management Moab District Helitack responded to the emergency and began searching for the father and daughter.
