Washington, October 29: The United States Economy grew at 33.1 percent annual rate in the third quarter, i.e., from July to September. It is the largest quarterly gain since 1947. According to experts, it would take a year to completely negate the effect of the pandemic on the US economy. The third quarter’s figures topped the estimate of 32 percent. Since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the US government has poured out more than USD three trillion as a relief package. The economy is still roughly 10.7 million jobs short of recovering all the 22 million jobs that were lost to the pandemic.
