Mumbai, July 29: In an unexpected and tragic turn of events in the US, a Florida man who miraculously woke from a coma after 255 days died on Friday, July 27, after being hit by a truck. The 30-year-old, who was hit by a pickup truck on Collins Road in Jacksonville, was pronounced dead at the scene despite the driver’s prompt 911 call. The man had suffered a severe brain injury in 2017 from a motorcycle crash, which had left him in a deep coma.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported that the driver, who did not see Drew, stopped and called 911, but Drew was pronounced dead at the scene. Osborne-Kohn expressed peace and gratitude, saying, “God honoured my request. I’m not angry; I’m at peace.” She believes her son is now in heaven, free from suffering and rejoicing. Despite her heartache, she cherishes the seven additional years she had with him.
