UK: Man Removes Condom Without Woman's Consent During Sex, Sent to Jail for Sexual Assault

Mumbai, June 14: Removing a condom during sex without a woman's consent has landed a man in prison in the United Kingdom. The development comes as a UK court on Thursday, June 13, awarded a jail sentence to a man named Guy Mukendi for removing the condom he was wearing during sex without the woman's consent. The court sentenced Mukendi to four years and three months of imprisonment.
Notably, Guy Mukendi's sentence comes after he was convicted in the case in April this year. On April 2, Mukendi was found guilty at the Inner London Crown Court. He was sentenced at the same court on Thursday, June 13. After the court's verdict, the Metropolitan Police of London called the sentencing a "milestone" legal case. Accused Removed Condom Without Victim's Knowledge

Jack Earl, detective constable of the Metropolitan Police, said that during the investigation of the case, Mukendi denied any wrongdoing.
