London, October 21: A man’s body was found in a wine bar freezer nearly nine years after he was reported missing in UK. Roy Bigg, who could only be identified through dental records, was around 70 when he disappeared in February 2012. The Metropolitan Police Service, in a statement, said that Roy Bigg's body was discovered in October 2021 in the basement of a building that was once a wine bar. Cops believe that he was in the freezer for several years before he was found by builders working on the premises.

The man's body was discovered inside an abandoned pub’s freezer after he went missing for almost ten years. The London Metropolitan Police are now asking the public for assistance in identifying the person responsible for his death. Despite previous efforts, police are still searching for information about his killer. Officials are offering up to 20,000 pounds, or more than $24,000, for information leading to the arrest, and prosecution of anyone responsible for Roy Bigg's slaying.
Detective Chief Inspector Kelly Allen said in a statement “It’s now been more than two years since Roy was found. Although our investigation, and previous media appeals have provided us with information about Roy’s life, we still need your help to identify who is responsible.”
