London, September 15: A man who was badly injured in a scary dog attack has died despite undergoing treatment. The shocking incident happened Thursday afternoon in Main Street, Stonnall, near Walsall in the UK. Emergency services rushed the man to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, but all in vain as he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

According to BBC, bystanders tried to help when the victim was attacked outside a building on Main Street. According to Staffordshire Police, for safety, they also stopped some children who were leaving St Peter's Primary Academy nearby. The man was seriously injured in the attack, which happened around 3:15 PM BST on Thursday, and was taken to the hospital. The report said that a 30-year-old man from Lichfield was arrested because the police suspected his dogs were not under control and posed a danger. The police were working to figure out what breeds the dogs were. When the victim was attacked, those who tried to help also attempted to get the dogs away from him. They managed to keep one of the dogs outside while the other was held inside the owner's apartment, according to the officers. One resident, on condition of anonymity, said a woman and her dogs were seen being chased by the same two dogs in March who killed the man. The resident said the police were called, and the owner was given a caution. "Upon arrival we found a man who had sustained multiple life-threatening injuries and was in a critical condition. Unfortunately, after arrival at hospital, despite the best efforts it became clear that nothing more could be done to save him and he was confirmed as deceased," West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) spokesman said.
