Thanksgiving 2018 Weather Forecast: Northeast America and Other Places to Experience Record Low-Temperatures

As America prepares for Thanksgiving on November 22, the northeastern region may have to withstand rough winter. On Thursday, New York and Boston will record the chilliest Turkey Day morning. According to forecast, the weather could set all-time record-coldest high in 117 years ago. According to forecast, low temperatures will be 15 to 25 degrees below average.

While it is already snowing in upstate New York and northern New England however, by Tuesday night the snowing will stop. Providence, Rhode Island, Philadelphia, Burlington and Vermont would also experience similar climatic conditions. Although it will be cold on Thanksgiving, the air will be dry, hence it won't snow. People planning to hit the road for Thanksgiving are advised to rethink their plans due to the weather conditions. Most of the US will be experiencing dominant high pressure this week. However, compared to past years, the weather is much better.

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade that will take place in Manhattan on Thursday morning is expected to be attended by over 3.5 million people. The traditional parade will be a colourful event with balloons, floats, music and much more. Thanksgiving is a national holiday in the US and is observed with celebrations and various festivities. While the day has both historical and religious significance for Americans, over the days it has become a national celebration.
