Stephen Hawking Passes Away: Did The Genius Believe in God?
The genius expressed his views on God and Universe with clarity and conviction.
The genius breathed his last today. Stephen Hawking, the intellectual largest, had strong views on God and everything we know in the form of energy, matter (and vibrations). It is always interesting to know how an intelligent mind with a scientific bend enquirers about something the quest of which has been fueling our collective consciousness for centuries. Here'w hat Hawking had to say....
Death of Stephen Hawking has surprised and shocked one and all. Even PM Narendra Modi condoles demise of cosmologist
“So Einstein was wrong when he said, "God does not play dice." Consideration of black holes suggests, not only that God does play dice, but that he sometimes confuses us by throwing them where they can't be seen.”
― Stephen Hawking
Woot! That is an interesting quote to begin with, But the man who held our interest for more than half a century had radical views on the subject matter.
The world renowned theoretical physicist and cosmologist who has received many honors for his work in the field of cosmology, quantum physics, black holes, and the nature of space-time. So when Stephen Hawking said that God didn't exist and added "I am an atheist” the world took notice.
“We are just an advanced breed of monkeys on a minor planet of a very average star. But we can understand the Universe. That makes us something very special.”
“There is a fundamental difference between religion, which is based on authority, and science, which is based on observation and reason. Science will win because it works.”
“We are each free to believe what we want, and it’s my view that the simplest explanation is; there is no god. No one created our universe, and no one directs our fate.”
Clearly the genius did not leave anything for chance. Though his speeches and studies incline towards some system governed by laws of nature Hawking believed in knowledge or decoding the knowledge to know the higher entity, if at all it exists which can be summed up by the following quote!
The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge. I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.
