Beijing, September 14: A disturbing trend has come to light from China where Chinese women are allegedly said to be participating in "sex camp" where they are reportedly taught the art of seduction to discourage their husbands from cheating. The alleged "sex camp" is said to be organised by a company called Sex Appeal Academy and has raised concerns among the Chinese people.

If reports are to be believed, the alleged "sex camp" is charging USD 420 (nearly INR 34,000) from each person taking part in the event. Surprisingly, a poster advertising the "sex camp" reading, "Sex appeal is a woman taking control of her life", has also gone viral in the Asian country. What Is the Sex Camp About?

According to a report in South China Morning Post, the alleged "sex camp" event was held in July for two-days in eastern city of Hangzhou in Zhejiang province. The report also claimed that those who took part in the event had to wear form-fitting cheongsams paired with black stockings. Notably, the slogan of the two-day event read, "Reignite passion in your marriage, revive your erotic life."

Sources close to the development said that women aged 35 to 55 attended the "sex camp". One woman aged 54 revealed that she developed feelings for her son's classmate. Another woman who is a housewife and learned about her husband's infidelity, also took part in the event. Most of the women who attended the "sex camp" said that they were attracted to event after they read its slogan urging women to "revive their erotic life."

What Transpired at the 'Sex Camp' Training Event?

During the two-day "sex camp" training event, women attended lectures on the "essence of love" and were also taught techniques to achieving orgasm. The second day, the participants were taught about kissing, sensual dancing, among other things. As per the report, participants also engaged in role-playing exercises. Female instructors of the "sex camp" allegedly claimed that they were "advanced therapists in intimate relationships and sex". However, they refrained from revealing their identities. While the camp has boosted women's confidence, it has also drawn flak on social media. One user raised strong criticism and said, "These middle-aged women cannot discern right from wrong," while another alleged the company taking advantage of vulnerable women.
