Moscow, August 11: A 20-year-old woman experienced a traumatic injury at a water park in the Khanty-Mansi region of Russia. While on a high-speed free fall slide, she tore her perineum, a serious laceration in the area between the genital region and the anus. The incident occurred at the Akvamarin water park, known for its steep slides, Kamikaze and Free Fall.

According to the Mirror report, CCTV footage captured the moment she came to a halt at the bottom of the 45-foot slide, visibly in agony and with blood pouring down her legs. Emergency services were called immediately, and she was rushed to the hospital, where she received stitches under anaesthesia. US: People Get Trapped After 'AtmosFEAR' Ride Malfunctions at Oaks Amusement Park in Portland, Horrific Video of People Hanging Upside Down Surfaces.

Gynaecologist Lyaysan Khisamieva, who treated her, issued a warning to other water slide users about the potential dangers. The woman, who now struggles to walk, plans to sue the water park.

The water park advises users to adopt the "approved descent positions" for the six-second rides, which include lying on the back with the head facing downwards, crossing the arms over the chest, and crossing the legs.
