A big supporter of President Donald Trump who is terminally ill is getting his bucket list wish of speaking with Trump fulfilled with the help of his Democratic sisters. The Connecticut man's wish is to talk to Donald Trump, and the president helped him his dreams. The big Trump supporter is named, Jay Barrett, from West Haven, has cystic fibrosis. He has left the hospital, and palliative care has begun at his sister’s home. He expressed his wish of having some sort of contact with the president before he dies. To fulfil his desire his sister, West Haven City Councilwoman Bridgette Hoskie, urged for help on social media to get his wish fulfilled. She describes herself as “100 percent Democrat.” Other friends and other supporters sent emails to the White House as well as per reports from the Times. Donald Trump stepped ahead to fulfil his wish and told Barrett that he’s a “champ,” and that a personal letter is coming his way. According to reports, Trump said: “You’re my kind of man, Jay. … I’m very proud of you,” Trump said. “I’ll talk to you again, Jay, OK? You keep that fight going. We both fight.” According to further reports, Barrett told the New Haven Register that he also received calls from the president’s son Eric Trump and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development regional chief Lynne Patton, as per reports by Times. Eric Trump reportedly “told me they’re pulling for me and praying,” Barrett said. The reports also suggest that Patton from New Haven will come to Connecticut on Saturday to give Barrett a signed gift from the president.
