Beijing, April 28:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day visit to China was seen enjoying an instrumental rendition of 1982 Bollywood song 'Tu, tu hai wahi dil ne jise apna kaha,' at an event in China's central Wuhan city on Friday. The Prime Minister was accompanied by his Chinese counterpart President Xi Jinping.

On a related note, the ongoing two-day historical informal summit between India and China in picturesque Wuhan city, which commenced on Friday, got more personal today as the two leaders went for a walk and boat ride as well.

Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale on Saturday said both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping identified terrorism as a major global problem and committed to take steps to eradicate the menace at the bilateral and multilateral levels.

Here's the original song:

On Friday Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping today held “extensive and fruitful” meetings here on the first day of an unprecedented two-day informal summit to “solidify” the India-China relationship and exchanged views on how the two countries can work together for the benefit of their people and the world.

The ‘heart-to-heart’ summit in Wuhan – the favourite holiday spot of revolutionary Chinese leader Mao Zedong – is being seen as an effort by India and China to rebuild trust and improve ties that were hit by the 73-day-long Dokalam standoff last year.

PM Modi is in China's Wuhan city from April 27-28 to exchange views on bilateral and international issues and to enhance mutual understanding between the two nations. He will depart for India on Saturday. This is PM Modi's fourth visit to China after he came to power in 2014. He is again due to visit China to take part in the SCO summit to be held at Qingdao city on June 9-10.

It must be noted that the Modi-Xi summit meeting is taking place in the backdrop of series of high-level interactions between both the two countries starting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang's visit to India in December, the first after Dokalam standoff.
