Berlin, October 23: A pizzeria in Germany's Düsseldorf became the centre of a major drug bust after the German police discovered its most popular pizza was being served with a side of cocaine. Reportedly, the customers were 'buzzing' after item number 40 on the pizzeria's menu.

According to a report published by the New York Post, the investigation began in March when food inspectors noticed unusual activity surrounding item number 40 on the menu. The inspectors alerted the police, who then confronted the pizzeria’s 36-year-old manager. Cops Find 3.5 Pounds of Cocaine in Pizzeria

The confiscated stash included 3.5 pounds of cocaine, 14.1 ounces of cannabis, and USD 290,378 in cash. Despite being released shortly after his initial arrest, the manager resumed his illicit activities, prompting further investigation.

Authorities expanded their probe into the supply chain, ultimately dismantling a drug ring operating in western Germany. Three suspects were arrested, including the alleged 22-year-old mastermind.
