New Delhi, August 30: In an embarrassing incident, Pakistan's Federal Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed suffered an electric shock while addressing the 'Kashmir Hour' rally in Islamabad. Video of the incident went viral on social media, with Rashid being seen jolted by the electric current flowing through his mic. The clip has allowed Twitter users to take potshot against the sabre-rattling Pakistani politician. War Between India, Pakistan Likely in October, Says Pak Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed
As per the footage circulated on social media, Rashid could be seen speaking against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a gathering. As soon as he states that Islamabad is aware of the "policies of Modi", the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader suffered an electric shock, leading him to drop the mic.
However, the shock was of low intensity and did not necessitate any medical attention. Rashid subsequently resumed his speech and continued firing salvo against the Indian PM.

The 'Kashmir Hour' rally was called by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, urging the country's residents to come out on the streets for at least 30 minutes and join the demonstration to protest against the alleged rights' violations in Jammu & Kashmir.
The call issued by Khan for mass participation in the protest was responded to by noted Pakistani citizens, including former cricketer Shahid Afridi.
Khan, in his special address to Pakistani people earlier this week, said his government would "go to any extent to liberate the people of Kashmir". He is scheduled to speak on the issue at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on September 27.
