Islamabad/New Delhi, May 23: With the results for 17th Lok Sabha Elections 2019 almost out in open and world leaders congratulating Narendra Modi for a straight second term, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated PM Modi for the electoral victory of BJP and allies.

Following the footprints of world leaders like Russia's Vladimir Putin, Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu, Japan's Shinzo Abe, China's Xi Jinping and other, Pakistani Premier Imran Khan tweeted, "I congratulate Prime Minister Modi on the electoral victory of BJP and allies. Look forward to working with him for peace, progress and prosperity in South Asia."
