The advertised was placed through the website of Pakistan’s Fatima Jinnah Women University. In the notice, it is mentioned that the candidate should be fluent in English and should have excellent skills in photo, video and text editing.

As one of the job requirements, an applicant must know social media analytics tools apart from having graduate or postgraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations. According to the notice, a candidate should also have knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels. The advertisement raised concerns that the Pakistan Army might be planning to honey trap Indian armed forces personnel to extract confidential information. In April this year, Facebook had also removed 103 pages, groups and accounts on both its platform and social networking website – Instagram, for engaging in coordinated inauthentic behaviour against India as part of a military-backed network that originated in Pakistan.
The Fatima Jinnah Women University is situated in Rawalpindi in Punjab. It was inaugurated by the then Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in 1998. The university is also regarded as the first women’s university of Pakistan.
