Pakistan Election Results 2018: Imran Khan's PTI Wins 110 National Assembly Seats, PMLN Bags 63; Outcome of 19 Seats Still Awaited
Pakistan Election Results: Imran Khan's PTI has won 110 seats in the National Assembly so far.
Islamabad, July 27: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), led by cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan, has emerged as the single largest party after the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) declared results of 251 out of 270 National Assembly (NA) seats. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was on the second position, followed by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Pakistan elections.
Imran Khan's PTI has won 110 seats in the National Assembly so far. As far as election results of provincial assemblies are concerned, it has bagged 118 seats in Punjab, 20 in Sindh, 66 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 4 in Balochistan. The PML-N has clinched 63 seats in National Assembly, 127 in Punjab, five in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and just a single seat in Balochistan. It failed to open its account in Sindh provincial assembly.
The PPP has won 42 seats in National Assembly, 6 in Punjab, 71 in Sindh, 4 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and none in Balochistan. A total of 12 independents managed to make it to the National Assembly so far. The Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) bagged 10 seats, whereas the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid got five seats.
The Balochistan National Party (BNP), Sindh's Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) won two seats each. The Awami Muslim League led by PTI-allied Sheikh Rasheed, Awami National Party (ANP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaniyat got one seat each.
The election results of 19 seats in National Assembly, 6 in Punjab, 11 in Sindh, 2 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 5 in Balochistan are yet to be declared.
