Mumbai, June 6: In an unfortunate incident in Norway, a man allegedly died after falling off the Preikestolen cliff featured in the "Mission Impossible" movie. The Preikestolen, also known as "Pulpit Rock" in English, is a 1,981-foot (604-meter-high) cliff located in southwestern Norway and overlooks the Lysefjord. Nina Thommesen, police attorney, confirmed the incident.
The police attorney said that a man in his 40s died on Monday, June 3, after falling off the Preikestolen cliff, reports CNN. Nina Thommesen further said that the deceased man was travelling alone. The incident came to light when the man's body was done with his phone and ID. However, the deceased man has not been identified officially as yet. One of them said that the deceased man slipped and fell off the cliff.
