Abuja, June 17: At least 30 people were killed in a triple suicide bombing in northeast Nigeria on Sunday night. According to reports, terror organisation Boko Haram is believed to have carried out the attack. Meanwhile, 40 people were also reported to be injured in the attack. The explosion took place outside a hall in Konduga which is 38 kilometres Borno state capital Maiduguri where people were watching a football match. Initially, there were reports of 17 casualties in the blast, but later the death toll rose to 30. Owner of the hall prevented one of the bombers from entering the venue, after which he blew himself there. Meanwhile, two other bombers detonated their explosives their suicide vests. Some reports claimed that the death toll rose as the authorities were not equipped to handle the emergency situation.
