New Jersey Gun Shooting: Suspect Dead, Several Injured After Mass Open Firing at Art All Night Festival, Trenton

The Mercer County prosecutor’s office held a press conference on Sunday morning and clarified that the person killed is the suspect in the event. Another suspect is alive and is reported to be in the custody.

An all-night art event in Trenton became a sight of horror after a suspect opened firing at the spot in New Jersey on Sunday early morning. According to reports, the shooting is said to have taken place around 2.45 am in Trenton at a 24- hour art event.

The event is an annual programme which "promote artistic diversity by fostering creativity, learning, and appreciation of the arts," says the website of the event.

Over 20 have been injured and four are said to be critically injured in the shooting. The police has issued a statement saying that the suspect is dead.

The event was being held at Roebling Market, located across the Delaware River and reports say that it was attended by over a thousand people.
