Tehrathum, February 27: A helicopter carrying at least six people including Nepal's tourism, culture, and civil aviation Minister Rabindra Adhikari crashed on Wednesday afternoon. Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs Prem Kumar confirmed the news, reported news agency ANI. It is suspected to be crashed in eastern Nepal's Tehrathum district. Blast at Arun III Hydropower Project Site in Nepal, None Hurt.

"We do not have any more information right now," Home Secretary Prem Kumar Rai told reporters. The Nepal Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed that all 6 on board including the tourism minister are dead in a chopper crash.

According to reports, the tourism minister along with other officials was on his way to visit Pathibhara Temple and then fly to Panchthar to see ongoing work of under-construction airport at Chuhan Danda.

Officials have rushed to the occurrence site. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Office and Council of Minister has summoned an emergency meeting at the official residence of the Prime Minister in Baluwatar.
