Sudurpashchim, July 21: At least three suspicious objects were found in front of three ministries and Provincial Assembly building in Kailali district of Sudurpashchim Province, the Nepal Police said on Tuesday. Following the detection of unattended objects, a team of bomb squad was called in. All three suspected bombs were later disposed of by the bomb disposal team. There were no reports of anyone getting injured.

Meanwhile, security has been tightened up in Dhangadhi, the district headquarters of Kailali. In September last year, a suspicious object was found at the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu. In an unrelated incident on Monday, an Indian national was injured in firing by the Nepal Armed Police Force (NAPF) in the 'no man's land' on the Indo-Nepal border in Bihar's Kishanganj district. On June 12, an Indian national was killed while two others were injured in firing by the NAPF on Indo-Nepal border near Lalbandi Janki Nagar village in Bihar's Sitamarhi district.
