Kathmandu, August 9: At least five were reported to be killed and 16 others left injured as a bus ferrying over 50 passengers fall into the Trishuli river. The fatal accident, in the early hours of Friday, was reported to have occurred Dhading district of central Nepal. The victims have been rushed to the nearest hospitals.

Preliminary reports have identified the bus as numbered (Na 6 Kha 7469). It was travelling from Malangawa in Sarlahi district to state capital Kathmandu.
Among the five deceased, the identity of three has been revealed. They have been identified as Raj Narayan Rauniyar, Shova Rauniyar, and Saurabh Rauniyar. The trio are said to be residents of Brahmapuri Rural Municipality-4 in Sarlahi district.
