New Delhi, August 8: Malala Yousafzai, Pakistan's human rights activist and world's youngest Nobel Prize laureate, put up a post on Kashmir and its people saying they "have lived in conflict since I was a child" and appealed for peace, emphasizing on the diversity in the Indian sub-continent. The tweet by Malala, which comes days after the abrogation of Article 370 and the bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir, has incited passionate responses from both sides of the border with Twitter users from Indian as well as Pakistan commenting on it. Malala wrote in her note that "the people of Kashmir have lived in conflict since I was a child, since my mother and father were children, since my grandparents were young. For seven decades, the children of Kashmir have grown up amidst violence." Article 370 was abrogated by the government of India, cancelling the special status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir into two separate Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
