Mumbai, October 11: A gruesome performance in Germany led eighteen people to seek medical assistance for severe nausea, as the act reportedly showcased lesbian sex, live piercing and a mix of real and fake blood. The incident took place over the weekend during two performances of *Sancta*, a provocative work by Austrian choreographer Florentina Holzinger.

Eight people required assistance from the visitor service on Saturday, October 5 and ten on Sunday, October 6. In three cases, medical professionals were called in to provide treatment, as reported by Hindustan Times . Florentina Holzinger is recognized for her daring performances that blend dance with theatrical elements. Her all-female ensemble often engages in unconventional acts, like sword-swallowing and tattooing. Holzinger recently shared that her definition of good dance technique goes beyond traditional moves, embracing the ability to perform unique and unexpected actions on command. Germany: 30 Injured After Syrian Man Sets 2 Fires and Rams His Van Into 2 Shops in Essen, Arrested (Watch Videos).

Originally delayed in 1921 due to protests, Hindemith’s opera about a nun's forbidden desires has now been radically reimagined by Florentina Holzinger. Her adaptation features roller-skating nuns and controversial scenes like crucified figures, drawing criticism from church leaders. Holzinger explained her goal was to examine the intersection of conservative institutions and kink communities, not to ridicule religious practices. No More Sex With Plane! Sebastian Ebling advised future attendees to carefully review the warnings for Florentina Holzinger's "Sancta," which include triggers like explicit content and loud noises. He recommended reaching out to visitor services with any questions and suggested looking away during uncomfortable moments. Despite recent incidents requiring medical assistance, the controversial show remains a commercial hit, with all remaining performances in Stuttgart and Berlin already sold out.
