Days after Donald Trump was elected as the President of United States in 2016, a video published by Breitbart News on Wednesday shows Google co-founder Sergey Brin and CEO Sundar Pichai talking to employees of Alphabet- the parent company of Google in a meeting. Addressing the employees, co-founder Brin calls the election result and the week as difficult and goes on to say that "Myself as an immigrant and a refugee, I certainly find the selection deeply offensive and I know many of you do too."

In the hour long video, Brin begins the meeting by talking in a sullen tone and calls the election "deeply offensive." The atmosphere in the room can best be described as gloomy. CEO Pichai, speaking after Brin, said that the result of the elections have caused "a lot of fear within Google" and also mentions his growing up experience in India. Pichai begins his speech by saying that "I am glad we are getting together at a moment like this" and calls it an "extraordinarily stressful time for many".

Interestingly, the leak comes after US President Donald Trump has accused internet giants like Google, Facebook and Twitter of bias against him. Trump Slams Internet Giants, Says Google, Facebook And Twitter "Treading On Very Troubled Territory".

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump had said a fortnight ago that Google had "really taken a lot of advantage of a lot of people, it's a very serious thing". Talking on Facebook and Twitter, President Trump said: "They better be careful, because you can't do that to people... we have literally thousands of complaints coming in."

Search giant Google, responding to the "political bias" charge levelled by United States President Donald Trump said that its search engine is not manipulated to benefit any particular political group or ideology. Google Hits Back at Donald Trump's 'Political Bias' Charge, Denies Suppressing Conservative Content.

The clarification from Google came hours after Trump had accused it of suppressing conservative stories and news reports which are positive about the work done by his administration. Trump claimed that 96 per cent of the results which the search engine props up are related to news outlets which are critical of him, particularly the CNN, the news network he has repeatedly attacked, calling it "fake news."
