The US President said that his energy policies "have made America energy independent" and helped "keeping prices low." Donald Trump compared the lower gas prices to "Tax Cut" and added that the Democrats environment friendly policies will raise the price of gas. Gas prices in America saw a downward shift approaching the Labour Day weekend. The American Automobile Association (AAA) said that the lower gas prices this Labour Day weekend are bound to encourage people to hit the road and get in their cars. Compared to last year, the gas prices this Labour Day weekend is 25 cents cheaper. The lowest rates have been witnessed in Texas and the South. Though the average gas prices have seen a downfall, California and Hawaii have seen prices higher than average.
