Spain, September 28: Three teachers and at least one pupil were attacked by a 14-year-old pupil who pulled a knife out of his backpack and went on a rampage as classes began at a Spanish school this morning. The teenager allegedly stabbed three teachers and two students repeatedly as classes started at around 8.25am at the Elena García Armada Institute in the city of Jerez de la Frontera, southern Spain.
Dailymail reported that the teenager reportedly went for one of the teachers after getting a knife out of his rucksack shortly after entering the school. The unnamed woman was said to have been stabbed in the face and eye before another teacher who went to her aid was also injured. A student said that the boy went "all angry" to the back of his class, where his backpack was, and took "knives" from it. Then he went "stabbing everyone who passed by." He continued: "Then he started to annoy everyone, even the teacher, who hit him in the eye. He almost caught my friend and hit another friend in the forearm. And my Physics and Chemistry teacher in the head."
Panicked parents, upon hearing the news of the stabbing, rushed to the school where they had dropped their children off only minutes earlier. Police are currently questioning the accused, who is said to have autism.
