Kabul: Blast at Uranus Wedding Hall During Eid-e-Milad Celebration, 40 Killed

A large number of people gathered at the Uranus Wedding Hall on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad when the blast took place.

Kabul, November 20: At least 40 people have been killed and 80 others wounded in a blast at a wedding hall in Afghanistan capital Kabul. A large number of people were present at the Uranus wedding hall on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad to commemorates the birthday of Prophet Muhammad when a suicide bomber blew himself up.

"A suicide attacker detonated his vest inside the Uranus wedding hall in Kabul. The attacker targeted Milad-un-nabi gathering," Ariana news reported. According to Afghanistan's ministry of public health, the explosion happened at about 6.15pm local time. Dozens of ambulances rushed to the scene. Further details were awaited.
