Mumbai, August 20: Several videos of the Islamic regime officials having illicit sexual relationships are being shared on social media amid a crackdown on the hijab that targets women in Iran. In the most recent occurrence, a video appeared on a Telegram channel purporting to depict a sexual encounter involving Mohammad Masoudianfar, a high-ranking state broadcaster (IRIB) official. According to reports, the video was covertly shot in his office.
Both the people in the video are said to be married with kids, according to reports. Interesting enough, both individuals are connected to the Basij forces. Masoudianfar also occupies a high position in the state television division that is charged with promoting the hijab. Notably, the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is in charge of the state-run broadcaster.
A journalist from Germany named Payman Behboudi runs a Telegram channel called Radio Gilan. In recent weeks, he has published a number of videos that have sparked a great deal of controversy on Persian social media.
The ongoing controversy first gained attention when a video purportedly showing Reza Seqati, a director for Iran's Ministry of Culture, performing a sexual act with a young male, was released. Seqati was then let off from his job when the intimate encounter's footage surfaced online.
The sharia-based law of Iran imposes heavy penalties for a variety of sexual activities. Adult men who engage in intimate same-sex relationships might face the death sentence. Additionally, under the current legal system, married men and women who engage in illicit sexual practices classified as Zena are vulnerable to the death penalty and being stoned to death.
