Aatish Taseer, in his article 'Divider in Chief', criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi accusing him of indulging in jingoism. "Not only has Modi’s economic miracle failed to materialise, he has also helped create an atmosphere of poisonous religious nationalism in India," Taseer, son of Indian journalist Tavleen Singh and the late Salmaan Taseer, the governor of Pakistan’s Punjab province, wrote.
