Avignon, September 3:  A 71-year-old French man has been accused of drugging his wife and inviting strangers to rape her for ten years. He used to crush sleeping pills and anti-anxiety medication into his wife's evening meal or wine to make her unconscious. The case involves fifty-one men who raped the man's wife, knowing he had drugged her.

The victim of the case has requested a public hearing on her case. Following this, Judge Roger Arata declared that all hearings would be open to the public, fulfilling the woman's request for "complete publicity until the end" of the trial, as stated by her lawyer, Stephane Babonneau. Who Is Julia Vavilova? According to police reports, 71 men committed a total of 92 rapes, and 51 men were identified. The abuse began in 2011 near Paris and continued after the couple moved to Mazan in 2013. The husband participated in and filmed the rapes, encouraging other men with degrading language. Prosecutors stated no money was exchanged. The accused include men from various backgrounds—some single, others married or divorced, with most participating only once, though a few were involved up to six times. Naked Woman Near Mona Lisa Painting: Artist Deborah De Robertis Goes Nude in Front of Iconic Portrait at Louvre Museum in France, Old NSFW Video Goes Viral Again.

Despite his actions, experts determined he was not mentally ill. The trial, which began with public hearings at the request of the victim, will run until December 20.
