Mumbai, September 12: Kristina Joksimovic, former Miss Switzerland finalist, was allegedly killed by her husband, Thomas, who then cut up her body and dissolved it. The 34-year-old was found dead on February 13 in her Binningen home near Basel. Authorities determined she was strangled. Her husband, Thomas, confessed to the crime and was arrested. The federal court in Lausanne denied his appeal for release on September 11.
Kristina Joksimovic started her career in modelling, winning Miss Northwest Switzerland in 2003 and reaching the finals of Miss Switzerland in 2008.
