Mumbai, September 7: Tragedy struck the family in Florida after two four-year-old twin girls were found dead inside their toy box. Unfortunately, the twins had suffocated during their sleep after closing themselves inside the airtight and soundproof container. The deceased girls were identified as Aurora and Kellan.
According to media reports, the incident occurred on August 26. On the previous night, the father of the twins, Don Starr, had put them to sleep while their mother, Sadie Myers, was at work on an overnight shift. He tucked them into bed, but during the night, the twins had woken up either to play or snuggle with their stuffed animals stored in the box. Myers explained that it was a regular for them to wake up and engage in nighttime play occasionally. The media outlet added that she had no prior knowledge that the cedar wood toy box was completely airtight and soundproof. She urged her followers to exercise caution when it came to their children's toy boxes and emphasized the importance of discarding any that might not be safe.
