New York, Sep 5: An Emirates Airline's flight was quarantined at JFK airport after about 100 passengers fell sick on board. Emirates flight EK203 was quarantined immidiately after it landed at JFK airport on Wednesday. Port Authority Police and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention were waiting when Emirates's Airbus A380 arrived at Terminal 4 of JFK airport with sickened passengers.
The New York City Mayor confirmed that the Emirates plane had been quarantined. Three passengers have been transported to a local hospital. A passenger on board the flight posted an image of more than a dozen emergency response vehicles waiting outside the plane on the runway. "People were sick before we even took off from Dubai," passenger Erin Sykes wrote on Twitter in response to a reporter.

Responding to the development, Emirates Airline tweeted, "Emirates can confirm that about 10 passengers on #EK203 from Dubai to New York were taken ill. On arrival, as a precaution, they were attended to by local health authorities. All others will disembark shortly. The safety & care of our customers is our first priority." The plane was carrying 500 passengers from Dubai.
