Donald Trump's Scathing Comeback at Reporters Furthering Pakistan's Narrative on Kashmir: 'Are You From Imran Khan's Team?'

Washington, September 24: At the joint press conference addressed by US President Donald Trump and Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, reportes from Islamabad attempted to further the country's narrative on Kashmir. Responding to one of the questions where the journalist apparently attempted to extract an anti-India quote from him, Trump ended up throwing a counter query which stumped the scribe.
The reporter had asked Trump to present his views on the ongoing "communication blockade" in Kashmir, which is continuing for the last 47 days. The President, after hearing out the scribe, asked whether it was a question or a "statement". He subsequently turned towards Khan and asked, "Where do you find reporters like these?"
Instead of responding to the reporter, Trump questioned him whether he was part of Khan's official public-relations team. "Are you from his (Khan's) team?" he asked.

Unmoved by the flattery, Trump replied: "I think I’m going to get a Nobel Prize for a lot of things if they gave it out fairly, which they don’t. They gave one to Obama..."
