Swedish media reports have, however, ruled out Trump's role in the release of the rap megastar. A$AP, they pointed, was released as the judge adjudicating over his case said he should not be kept in custody till the verdict in his case is announced.
Notably, the judgement will be pronounced by the Stockholm court on August 14. If found guilty, the rapper will have to serve an imprisonment of 6 months in Sweden.

The Swedish government, over its handling of A$AP case, had angered Trump as it did not pay heed so far for his personal intervention into the case. The US President had expressed his disappointment last week, saying, "We do so much for Sweden but it doesn’t seem to work the other way around."
