South Eastern Railway reduces speed of all goods, special trains to 40 kmph in its Kharagpur-Bhadkar section till tomorrow morning owing to movement of migrant workers along rail tracks, an official confirmed to news agency PTI.
Plans underway to gradually restart passenger train services from May 12, initially with 15 pairs of trains (30 return journeys), said a statement issued by the Indian Railways.

Health Ministry says National Institute of Virology in Pune has successfully developed the first indigenous anti-SARS-CoV-2 human IgG ELISA test kit for antibody detection of COVID-19. Pune Municipal Commissioner has issued an order to close all shops in containment zones of Pune from 11th to 17th May. In all 69 containment zones of the city, only hospitals and medical stores will be allowed to remain open, said a statement issued by the civic body.
