Mumbai, September 24: In an unusual incident that took place in Mexico, the police arrested a Chucky doll for allegedly using a knife to scare people. Police officials said that the Chucky Doll was being used by its owner to scare people. Officials also said that Carlos "N" used the Chucky doll to terrorise people. The doll allegedly terrorised locals by brandishing an actual knife in order to demand money.
According to a report in the New York Post, local authorities have dubbed the Chucky doll used to scare people as a "demon doll. As per the report, the incident came to light on September 11, when Carlos and his Chucky doll were caught in Monclova, a city in the Coahuila state of northern Mexico. After being arrested, Carlos and his doll were brought to a police station, where their mug shots were taken. The report also states that the knife-wielding doll was propped up against the wall and reportedly held by its hair when the mug shot was taken. A report in Reuters said that a police officer was allegedly laughing when she was holding the long knife taken from Chucky. Meanwhile, the doll's owner, Carlos, was released later. However, the whereabouts of the Chucky doll are still unknown. Chucky Doll, a possessed doll, reportedly became famous after the release of the horror film "Child's Play" in 1988. The doll was presented as a killer Good Guy doll whose soul was transferred into the doll using voodoo.
