London, September 6: British columnist Katie Hopkins on Thursday slammed London Mayor Sadiq Khan over the filthy mess created outside the Indian Embassy following the protest by Pakistanis over the Jammu and Kashmir Issue. On Tuesday, hundreds of British-Pakistani groups protested outside the Indian embassy in London against the withdrawal of special status to the valley. "The Embassy in London - one of our greatest allies - is a filthy mess of eggs and vandalised windows at the hands of Pakistani protesters in the UK. Is the Muslim Mayor of London enabling this behaviour? Why has this not been cleaned up? Deeply shaming for Britain," Hopkins tweeted. The noted media personality also released two clips on Twitter in which the gates of the Indian embassy can be seen covered with eggs and other garbages. She also blamed London Mayor for filth while saying that it is shameful for "Britain to do this to the embassy of India, which is UK's greatest ally."
Meanwhile, Sadiq Khan has termed the violence as unacceptable. This is the second incident of violent protest over Kashmir issue outside the Indian Embassy in London. Similar protests were witnessed on August 15, Independence Day, as well.
